What is it?

A man-in-the-middle (MITM) attack is a long-standing fraud scheme where attackers insert themselves between a financial institution and a customer to steal sensitive identity information or commit other types of fraud. This attack is executed person-to-person and can be difficult to detect. With the use of personalized messaging, FailSafe can help raise consumer's awareness to potential fraud directly within a transaction.
